Inclusive Education

At Swansea High School, our Inclusive Education Faculty reflects our strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and high expectations for all students. We provide high-quality, tailored support for students with disability within a welcoming, inclusive school environment where every student is known, valued, and supported to succeed.

Our faculty includes seven support classes, comprising:

Students enrolled in our support classes are active members of the wider school community. They participate in whole-school activities, events, and learning experiences alongside their peers, with adjustments and support provided to ensure meaningful access and engagement. Inclusion is not an add-on at Swansea High School — it is embedded in how we teach, support, and connect with students every day.

Our Inclusive Education Faculty works collaboratively with classroom teachers, support staff, families, and external agencies to deliver personalised learning, wellbeing, and transition planning. Through a strengths-based approach, we focus on building independence, confidence, and skills for life beyond school.
